A handcrafted gin that attracts with its character and keeps you enjoying with its taste
Jonston Gin is an artisanal handcrafted gin from Poland, the taste of which is built by an exceptional selection of various botanists. The craftsmanship of our spirit does not end only with the meticulous distillation process. The drink is also subjected to an infusion process, which breaks the expressiveness of the gin and gives it fruity flavor notes. The bitterness of the juniper berries has been subtly quenched by the refreshing citrus aroma, and the Cassia gives it a sharper tinge with every sip.

From concept to consumption
It all started in the Red Land
The idea to create gin was born during our trip to Australia, a place where handcrafted gin experiences a great revolution, adopting unprecedented blends of flavors and colors. The inspiration came from small, local distilleries, craftsmanship and meticulousness with which the flavor notes and a great passion for creation are noticeable.
An idea that combines traditional distillation methods with a soul of primeval spirit.
The roots go back to the scientific achievements of a doctor and natural scientist, Jan Jonston, whose history, love for nature and comprehensive knowledge have become significantly inspiring to us. Following on this legacy, our goal is to create intriguing, eclectic and equally fascinating gin.
A thoughtful composition of sophisticated botanists.
Juniper berries and, among others, coriander, angelica root and seeds, cubeb pepper, anise, nutmeg, and cassia cinnamon go through a lemon and thyme infusion process. We create all this based on macerated Polish spirit.
The second variant, i.e. Mrs. Jonston Gin, apart from the noticeable hint of juniper, will surprise you with the aromas of hibiscus, angelica root and seeds, kaffir leaves and cassia cinnamon. The composition will be infused with grapefruit, orange, and rosemary, which will appeal to connoisseurs of an expressive taste in a refreshing variant.

Jan Jonston. Jonston Gin.
The soul of our gin is inspired by an extraordinary figure. John Jonston was an outstanding botanist, doctor, philosopher, and educator from Greater Poland. His scientific achievements as well as knowledge of the local culture and capital inspired us to create a drink that gives you a special feeling at any moment. All the information gathered by the District Museum in Leszno turned out to be indispensable in the research process.
The characteristic logo of Jonston Gin was inspired by the illustration of the stag beetle from the Jonston’s work titled "Historiae Naturalis". This majestic stag beetle is unique and under protection because the population is scarce. His beauty and uniqueness are why we identify our gin with it. Find out more about the incredible richness of flora and fauna in this area.
